The Backs is a picturesque area where several colleges of the University of Cambridge back on to the River Cam, with their grounds covering both banks of the river. The Mathematical Bridge, (also known as the Wooden Bridge or Queens' Bridge), is a listed wooden footbridge which connects two parts of Queens' College.
