Once you have a login, you can create and save an unlimited number of lightboxes. We use this term to mean a folder or group of images. You may like to create one per project that you are working on. You can add an unlimited number of images to each lightbox,add notes to specific images, and email lightboxes to colleagues to share what you have found.
If you want to license one or more images for your project, you can price the license, purchase and download the high-resolution image for your use. Only registered users can do this.
You can view an order history within the ‘My Account’ section and download previous purchases (for a limited time) and invoices.
Some images contain disturbing content or concepts. Sometimes this is due to metadata which has been retained and which uses outdated language or ideas which would not be used if catalogued today, but which is retained for originality.
We have produced a limited number of images using generative AI. We have strict guidelines that dictate what we produce. Only real people and events are depicted, or figures from literature. Images are clearly labeled as AI - we never pass off AI generated images as anything else.
