The Right Rev. Michael Ramsey, Bishop of Durham, c1953. Ramsey (1904-1988) was appointed Bishop of Durham in 1952, and Archbishop of York in 1956. He was one of the bishops officiating at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in June 1953.
