The Persian Expedition - Minora Point and Lighthouse, Kurrachee [Karachi] Harbour, Oyster Rock, Church and Town of Kurrachee, Oyster Rocks, 1857. Sketch '...by an officer, in the Bushire Roads, showing part of what occurred during the attack and capture of Bushire [Bushehr]: View of Kurrachee Harbour outside the Bar - The 2nd Europeans embarked from this place. Many of them had been suffering from fever, and seventy men of the 1st Fusiliers had been transferred to them. The principal object in the town is the church, a building with a large ugly tower, which makes a capital mark for entering the harbour. The lighthouse seen on the projecting point of land is called Minora Point'. From "Illustrated London News", 1857.
