Klutschak...who accompanied the expedition of 1878-1880, sent out by the New York Geographical Society in search of relics and monuments of the ill-fated Arctic exploring party commanded by Sir John Franklin in 1847, appear in this Number of our Journal... [Also shown are] monuments erected by Lieutenant Schwatka's party to the memory of Sir John Franklin's comrades who had perished there...[The expedition] proceeded overland, from the northern shore of Hudson's Bay, to Simpson's Strait, there crossing over to King William's Land, and thoroughly exploring the whole of its western coast as far as Cape Felix, where H.M.S.
