Koblenz and Festung Ehrenbreitstein, Germany, 1879. View of the city which lies at the junction of the Mosel and Rhine rivers. The fortress of Ehrenbreitstein was built in the 10th century and destroyed in 1799. It was rebuilt between 1816 and 1832.
