Profession of vows of Fathers Francisco Caracciolo and Agustín Adorno before the Vicar General of the Diocese of Naples, 1738. Adorno and Caracciolo received papal approval to establish their Congregation in 1588. On April 9, 1589, they made their Profession before the vicar general of the archbishopric of Naples, Flaminio Torcelli, in the Oratory of Santa Maria Succurre Miseris (Naples). Pedro Rodríguez de Miranda received the commission to paint the canvases for the convent of the Order of the Minor Clerics through Father Aller, a Minor Cleric closely linked to the Royal Palace as confessor to Infante Don Felipe, fourth son of Philip V.
