Ten Days in Bosnia: the railway to Jajce, 1895. 'From the Frontier to the Capital..."We have said that the morning train to Vienna touches the frontier town of Bosna-Brod about the hour of midnight, but in our own case it was near to one o'clock when courteous Austrians bade us descend from the shelter of a wagon-lit, and enter a little carriage upon the metre gauge which has been adopted for all the railways in Bosnia...For some hours after leaving Brod, Bosnia was to us a hidden country.
