An order of the London Fire Court, 1667. Following the Great Fire of London, disputes arose about such matters as who was responsible for rebuilding destroyed properties and whether rent was payable on a property while it lay in ruins. A special court was set up to settle these questions speedily and the original decrees of this court are preserved in the British Library. This order concerns a house and shops on the south side of St Paul's Cathedral which had been destroyed in the fire.
