'The Resurrection', 1483, (1943). Christ rising from his tomb after being crucified. Page from the "Golden Legend", a collection of hagiographies compiled c1260 by Jacobus de Varagine. This version was printed by William Caxton in 1483, and is in the collection of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It is one of the first books Caxton printed in the English language.
