'Daniel Lock, Esq.', 1808, (1827). Portrait of British architect and artist Daniel Lock (1681-1754), Governor of the Foundling Hospital in London, and founder of the Lock Hospital. Some sources say the plans he is holding are of the Foundling Hospital, and others that they are of the Lock Hospital. Engraving after a painting made c1751 by Hogarth, in the Herbert F.
