Letter, written in Latin from Wittenberg on Palm Sunday, by Martin Luther to Thomas Cromwell (afterwards Lord Cromwell and Earl of Essex), Secretary to Henry VIII, excusing himself for not having replied to his letter bought by Dr Barnes on account of the sudden departure of the latter, deprecating the compliments to himself contained in it and expressing his joy at Cromwell's zeal for the cause of Christ and his power to advance it.
