Letter from Edward Gibson to his aunt, Hester Gibson, 30th June 1788. Letter written from Sheffield Place in Sussex, on Gibson's intended return to Lausanne, and re-assuring her as to his religious opinions, with mention of his maternal uncle Sir Stanier Porten and Lord and Lady Eliot, the latter of whom was his first-cousin.
