Theatre Royal, Bath, Avon. Bath's Theatre Royal was built in 1863. Designed by George Dance, Bath's Theatre Royal first opened its doors in 1805.The building was destroyed by a fire in 1862 but was rebuilt by CJ Phipps the following year.
