The father rests one arm on the boy's shoulder. Phra Navai (or Phraya Sripipat Rattanaraj Kosa Thibodi, Pae Bunnag) and his son Pho Xai were received by Napoléon III and Empress Eugénie at Fontainebleau in June 1861.
