The Fontana dell'Acqua Felice in Rome, c1858. View of the Fountain of Moses (Fontana dei Termini), marking the terminus of the Acqua Felice, one of the aqueducts of Rome, on the Quirinale (one of the Seven Hills). It was designed by Domenico Fontana and built in 1585-1588. Jane Martha St. John (1801-1882) was an early English photographer who made over 100 photographs in the late 1850s when travelling with her husband in Italy.
