The Federal Chancellery, Ballhausplatz, Vienna, Austria, c1935. Baroque facade of the Kanzleramt, office of the Austrian Federal Chancellor. The building was inaugurated in 1719 as the Geheime Hofkanzlei (Secret High Chancellery). Nazi insurgents shot and killed Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss here during the July Putsch of 1934.
