St Chad's Roman Catholic Cathedral, Birmingham, West Midlands, c1940s-1960s. View of the interior of the cathedral, looking towards the rood screen. The screen, part of Augustus Welby Pugin's original design for the church, was removed in the 1960s along with a number of other fittings. It was rescued and re-erected in Holy Trinity Church, Reading.
