Rhymney ironworks, Mid-Glamorgan, South Wales, 1930s. Roofless ruins with stream in the foreground, looking northeast. On the right is the northern half of the southern block of the fitting shops, and on the right of centre is the southern half of the northern block of the fitting shops. Left of centre is the smiths shops (the arcade with light quoinwork), and on the left are the ruins of Nos.4, 5 and 6 blast furnaces.
