Orleans House, Twickenham; once the residence of Louis Philippe, 1844. View of Orleans House, a Palladian villa built in 1710 on the banks of the Thames at Twickenham, (now in west London). The house was named after Louis-Phillippe, Duc d'Orléans (later King of France), who lived here between 1813 and 1815 while in exile from France. From "Illustrated London News", 1844, Vol V.
