Old Battersea Bridge, Wandsworth, London, c1861-c1881, looking south-west towards the Battersea Railway Bridge; with the spire of St Mary, Battersea also visible. Several factories with chimneys are on the far side of the river. Henry Holland's wooden bridge, built in 1771-2, was demolished in 1881, while Battersea Railway Bridge had been built 1861.
