Dunelm House, Durham University, New Elvet, Durham, County Durham, 01/10/1966. Dunelm House at Durham University seen from south-west across the River Weir, with Kingsgate Bridge and a punt on the river in the foreground. Dunelm House was designed by Architects Co-Partnership, under the supervision of Sir Ove Arup, and was built by Laing's Construction Company for Durham University. This Brutalist style student's union building was completed in 1966 and later won a R.I.B.A. Architecture Award in 1967. Kingsgate Bridge dating from 1963 was designed by Ove Arup and Partners.
