Christ Church, Spitalfields, London, 1817. Built between 1714 and 1729, the church was designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor. It is regarded as possibly the finest of the so-called 'Commissioners' Churches' built after 1711 by the Commission for Building Fifty New Churches.
