Archimedes and Justinian, c1870. Sculptures of ancient Greek mathematician and astronomer Archimedes, and Roman emperor Justinian, by W. F. Woodington. There are 22 sculptures on the façade of 6 Burlington Gardens, an Italianate Grade II*-listed building in Mayfair, designed by Sir James Pennethorne between 1867 and 1870 as headquarters for the University of London. It is currently used by the Royal Academy of Arts.
