Roman theatre, Nimes, France, c1955. View of the Arena of Nîmes, built c100 AD/CE, shortly after the Colosseum of Rome. It is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, and is still used for two annual bullfights during the Feria de Nîmes.
