Doorway, College Hill, c1884. Carved stone entrance at No. 96. College Hill in the City of London. 'One of the doorways of a house, built probably, for a merchant's residence. From its style it may well be from Wren's designs, but I have not been able to find any documentary evidence of this.' Description by Alfred Marks.
