Ferdinand VII of Spain, 1828. Portrait of King Fernando VII of Spain (1784-1833), son of King Carlos IV of Spain, and father of Queen Isabel II. He wears the uniform of a Captain General. Hanging from his neck is the insignia of the Order of the Golden Fleece. On his chest he wears the Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III (sash and badge), and partially visible is the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. In his left hand he holds a bicorn hat.
