Portrait of Spanish diplomat and army officer Luis Fernández de Córdoba (1798-1840), wearing the sash of the Grand Cross of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Ferdinand, awarded in 1835 for meritorious service in several actions in Navarre in December 1834. The badge appears to be from the Royal and Military Order of Saint Hermenegild.
