Michael Servetus, (1511-1553), Spanish physician and theologian, 1727, (1877). Persecuted by the Inquisition, he fled to Geneva, where on Calvin's initiative was condemned to be burned at the stake for heresy. Facsimile of an engraving in "Historia Michaelis Serveti", 1727.
