River Gaur, Scotland, c1955. The Tummel hydro-electric power scheme is an interconnected network of dams, power stations, aqueducts and electric power transmission in the Grampian Mountains. Gaur power station is located on the banks of the River Gaur, 0.3 miles (0.5 km) below Gaur Dam, which impounds water in Loch Eigheach.
