The ceiling of the Chapel of Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, c1955. The ceiling was painted by in 1694 by Louis Laguerre, a French artist who decorated several of the great houses of the British nobility in the late 17th and early 18th century. It depicts the resurrected Christ in glory.
