First Carlist War (1833-1840): Women killing friars, 1835, (1845). Anti-clerical riots of 1835. Revolts against the religious orders that took place as a result of their support for the Carlist side. "Bullanga" of Barcelona (25 July 1835). In the streets of the city there was a succession of assaults, arson and murders perpetrated by mobs during the night.
