The Post Office Tower during construction, London, between 1961 and 1967. The British Telecom Tower, designed by Eric Bedford, was formerly known as the GPO or Post Office Tower. Butlins managed a revolving restaurant in the tower from 1966 until 1980. A view of the tower from a different angle can be seen in the "Trove" episode of British TV drama "Endeavour".
