Madonna and Child with the Saint Bishops-Nicholas and Stanislaus, between 1520-1530. Main Altar Retable Body from Bejsce. Peter on his knees praying. Mary, slightly turned to the right, stands on an anthropomorphic (lunar mask) crescent moon. She is dressed in a red dress with a white trim and a dark blue coat with a light green lining, fastened with a buckle on the chest and trimmed with gold trim with cabochon-cut stones. Mary bows her head towards the Child. It is naked, with a string of beads around its neck, held by a white diapers. The holy bishops turn towards Mary, raising their right hands in a gesture of blessing. They are dressed in glitter, with a pattern with a navy blue cross-section motif, chasubles and dalmatics (St. Nicholas greenish-gold chasuble on a red dalmatic, St. Stanislaus red chasuble on a greenish-gold dalmatic). The bearded St. Nicholas holds the crosier with his right hand, and in his left he holds a book on which three golden balls rest. Beardless St. Stanislaus holds the crosier in his left hand.
