Madonna and Child with St Stephen and St Dorothy, between 1331-1335. The triptych shows some archaic features: synthetically shaped figures with heavy proportions and rigid arrangements, flat treatment of uniformly coloured robes, without internal contours. These features, as well as the large-eyed facial type of the Virgin Mary and Child are characteristic of the art of Francesco Neri and are also found in his other works from around 1360-1370.
