Jaca Cathedral (Cathedral of St Peter the Apostle), Aragon, Spain, Romanesque, 11th century (2008). Capital sculpted by the Master of Jaca. It depicts an episode related to the martyrdom of Pope Saint Sixtus II (died 258). The Cathedral of Saint Peter is the first Romanesque cathedral built in Aragon, and one of the oldest in the Iberian peninsula.
