Embroidered picture, Early 19th century. Additional Info: The picture depicts Saint Valentine, who according to legend, healed an infant suffering from epilepsy. Saint Valentine is wearing a red Roman chasuble, with a maniple on his left hand, standing inside a chapel with his back to the altar and raising his hand in a gesture of blessing. A baby in swaddling bands lies at the feet of the saint. In the corner, we can see the head and shoulders of a kneeling woman who is probably the mother of the child. To the right of the altar, there is an altar boy in a surplice, kneeling down with a missal in his hand. On the base of the column visible on the right, there is an inscription "Saint Valentine."
