Preface and Sayings of Jesus, latter part of 3rd century. The second of three fragments of the original Greek text of the Gospel of Thomas. The fragment contains part of the Prologue, and the first six sayings of Jesus. Excavated at Oxyrhynchus, in Middle Egypt, by B. P. Grenfell and A.S. Hunt in 1903.
