Brass plaque, 1881. Etching of an undated metalwork plaque with floral decoration, acquired by the South Kensington Museum in 1855. It is possibly Flemish in origin, and may date from the 17th century. From "The South Kensington Museum", a book of engraved illustrations, with descriptions, of the works of art in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (formerly known as the South Kensington Museum).
