'Funeral procession, with full military honours, of the captain of the Blucher', 1915. SMS Blucher was the last armored cruiser built by the German Empire. Captain Erdmann was rescued after his vessel had sunk, he afterwards died of pnuemonia in the military hospital at Edinburgh. From The Manchester Guardian History of the War, Vol. II. - 1914-15.
