Princesses Birgitta, Desiree and Margaretha of Sweden, St Lucy's Day, 1943. Princess Birgitta (1937-), Princess Desiree (1938-) and Princess Margaretha (1934-), the three eldest children of Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. St Lucy's Day (Lucia) is celebrated in Sweden on 13 December. Girls wear white robes and carry candles and bring coffee and cakes to their parents.
