Vintage linen postcard showing Tudor City with its handsome residential apartments on one side, businesses and commerce on the other. Looking north from 42nd Street up the East River. Tudor City is a residential development built between 1927 and 1932 by real estate developer Fred F French, who portrayed the apartment complex to prospective clients as an urban utopia.
