The Hearst Building, Chicago, Illinois, USA, 1915. Postcard showing the exterior of the building with pedestrian and vehicular traffic on the surrounding street. The building was built in 1911 as the headquarters of two newspapers established by William Randolph Hearst in Chicago in the 1900s, the Chicago American (1900) and the Chicago Examiner (1902). It was designed by a New York architect, James C Green.
