Sign describing the Ice Age Monument, Glen Roy, Highland, Scotland. The Glen is noted for a geological feature known as the Three Parallel Roads, the former shorelines of a huge loch that formed there when the glaciers melted at the end of the last Ice Age. Mythology has it that they were roads made by the legendary Celtic warrior Fingal for his use when hunting.
