St Paul's Cathedral, City of London, 1710. Sheet from William Morgan's map, London Actually Survey'd, first published in 1682. It carries the following views: on the left, the south prospect of the Royal Exchange and the south prospect of the Guildhall; on the right, the statue of Charles II from Stocks Market; in the centre, a south elevation of St Paul's Cathedral. Wren's design for the dome was kept a secret, so Morgan was obliged to use his imagination.
