Turkish baths at Mudanya, Turkey, c1955. The Eski Kaplica Hamami (Old Thermal Baths) of Bursa were commissioned by Sultan Murad I (ruled 1360-1389 to be built over the hot springs at the foot of the hill in Çekirge using existing Byzantine (and previously Roman) foundations.
