Tomás Zumalacárregui, (1788-1835), Spanish military, 1853. At the outbreak of the First Carlist War, (1833-1840) he joined the army of the pretender Don Carlos, reaching the rank of general. He died during the siege of the city of Bilbao. From "Historia General de España" by Father Mariana, Madrid, 1853.
