The Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy, c1955. La Fontana di Trevi is an 18th-century fountain, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762. Standing 26.3 metres (86 feet) high and 49.15 metres (161.3 feet) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the world, and one of the most famous fountains in the world. Anita Ekberg waded in the Trevi Fountain in the film La Dolce Vita (1960) directed by Federico Fellini.
