The Ingermanland, 74, with His Imperial Highness the Grand Duke Constantine on board, saluting the Admiral at Plymouth, 1845. Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich of Russia arrives in England. 'The Ingermanland was accompanied by the Russian corvette Vaarshafsky, 30 guns, Captain Glassenap. The corvette is very large; mounting 30 guns, besides swivels...The Royal visitor, who is the second son of the Emperor, assumes only the honours of a lieutenant in the Imperial navy, in which rank he is now serving on board the Ingermanland.
