The battleship USS 'Texas', San Jacinto Battlegrounds, near Houston, Texas, USA, 1958. Vintage postcard. Commissioned in 1914, the USS 'Texas' saw action in both World Wars. Since 1947 she has been preserved as a museum ship in the Houston Ship Channel near the San Jacinto Memorial, which can be seen in the background.
